Art Deco armchair attributed to "de coene frères", made in courtrai, belgium in the 1930s. Reupholstered in ecru bouclé fabric. Woodwork airbrushed and re-stained with oil-wax. During the 1920s and 1930s, de coene frères became one of the most important manufacturers of art deco furniture in europe, with customers all over the world. The company was closed in 1975, but its legacy as a furniture manufacturer continues to be celebrated around the world. No stamp.
