Vintage 1940 chrome gold marble leather lamp - 45 cm

Old desk lamp in aluminum, chrome metal, purple leather, gold metal and marble circa 1940 in good condition. Its only defect lies in two chips at the marble base. This superb art deco piece is atypical to say the least, the aluminum lampshade is set in two rounds of wood covered in purple leather at each end. It is connected to the chrome arm by a golden plate topped with a chrome sphere. Which arm is fixed to the marble base by a plate held by golden screws. The electricity is old, made from bakelite and the wired bakelite switch works. It works with a bayonet bulb not supplied. It measures 45cm in height, it is 25cm deep, it is 21cm wide.
