Office Samara by Derk Jan de Vries

Samara series desk, designed by Derk Jan de Vries for the Italian publisher Maisa di Seveso in the 1970s. Entirely made of ash, it stands out for its very clean lines, rounded corners, and the beautiful natural grain of the wood. The front features two side drawers with integrated round handles as well as an open central compartment. A rather rare model, representative of European design from the 1970s, both understated, functional, and very graphic. Overall good vintage condition. The top shows a slight colour difference in one spot, visible in the photos.
