Bridge armchair 50s 60s

This charming bridge armchair is typical of the 50s and 60s with its red skaï with white plastic pass-through, its beautifully curved armrests associated with the straight lines of the seat and backrest. It will easily find its place in an entrance, a bedroom or an office. He was treated to a thorough cleaning and badly needed it, decades of accumulated dust. I brushed the relief skaï and its thousands of small hollows retaining dirt! I dismantled the backrest and seat to be able to clean the hard-to-reach places (between the skaï and the passe-poil, between the grope and the wood). On the wooden structure, after cleaning, I passed a little walnut husk to unify the colors and fade some marks and scratches, then I simply passed a light coat of varnish to protect him for his next life without hiding the traces of his previous lives. It is in good general condition: solid, stable, the skaï has no perforation, the seat is still firm, the padding still present. But he obviously does not hide his 70 years: various marks on the wood (small scratches, small traces of blows, small spots), a darker coloration in places on the skai, mainly on the seat, which remains despite my cleaning (maybe a stronger cleaning product would remedy it but I did not want to take the risk of damaging the skai). And the fabric that hides the underside of the seat is faded. It measures 81 cm maximum height, about 47 cm seat height, about 37 cm seat depth, 52 cm maximum width, 45 cm maximum depth. It weighs about 7 kg.
