Old pharmacy jar / apothecary bottle colombo tincture

Real vintage pharmacy bottle in amber glass with a sheet metal lid. It has a white label on which it is written "colombo dye" Colombo tincture was a pharmaceutical preparation of a fusiform and branching root subshrub traditionally used to relieve digestive disorders. The plant was macerated in alcohol for several weeks away from light. The liquid was then loaded with the active ingredients of the plant.
