Pair of wooden and metal bedsides 50/60

Set of 2 mid-century vintage bedside tables, in the spirit of jacques hitier. Made by tubauto in the 50s and 60s, they are from the "reconstruction period" after the second world war. They were usually in boarding schools or military barracks. Classic modern design, simple and elegant industrial with tubular metal base and light wood tray color golden oak. The night tables have a metal shelf holder. Night tables have functional drawers. One has a slight resistance when you open it, but this should disappear with time and use. There are inventory references partially erased under the drawers, the drawers are clean. The night tables have been restored; as close as possible to their original state. The metal feet have been refurbished with a "military grey" finish. The wooden trays have been redone golden oak finish as original and waxed with natural beeswax. All foot tips are original and present. (some minor splits, usage and time) Minor signs of use and time consistent with age of parts on top and legs (see photos) Timeless design, simple and elegant in keeping with the mindset of the time. The price is for the pair. Nb: the colissimo option is the price for a shipment of two parcels, given the constraints of expedition size.
