Brass shelf attributed to Renato Zevi - Circa 1970

Superb Hollywood Regency style living room shelf, attributed to the famous Italian designer Renato Zevi and dating from the 1970s. With its elegant proportions and graphic silhouette, this piece perfectly embodies the glamour and refinement of high-end furniture from that decade. The geometric structure is made of shiny gold-plated metal (brass), offering beautiful reflections under light. It features four levels of storage, including three original removable smoked glass shelves, which enhance the contrast with the brass. The top glass surface and the framed solid base give the whole piece a stunning architectural finish. It will find its place as a display unit in a living room, as a refined bookshelf, or as a tall console in an elegant entrance. Very good overall vintage condition. The brass structure has a superb shine with slight signs of normal use for its age (tiny micro-scratches, very light pitting or patina in places, enhancing its authenticity). The smoked glass panels are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, though there are some superficial surface scratches due to use. The structure is perfectly stable and robust.
