Magnificent pair of bougies flambeaux in bronze with golden patina in rocaille/antique style. Stamped h.picard, numbered and engraved "h" on one of the bobèches - from the famous parisian bronzier henri picard (1840-1890). Late nineteenth century - richly decorated and finely chiseled with rinceaux motifs (foliage, flowers & scrolls) and beaded friezes. Base and bobbin with scalloped edges. Beautiful patina of use & beautiful shine of the whole - dimensions / height 22 cm. Bobbin diameter 5.5 cm. Base diameter 12 cm. Diameter of candles 2 cm. Total net weight 1 kg 485. In tb state.
