Høyrup Plast Danish pendant lamp, embroidered floral shade, 1960s

A rare Danish hanging lamp from the 1960s by Høyrup Plast. The brand's designs, created mainly by Lars Eiler Schiøler, are known for plastic shades covered with embroidered fabric (such as the Holland model and the famous Pearlshade lamps). This version stands out with an unusual decorative finish: purple-pink floral embroidery that gives it a unique mid-century modern character. Dimensions: shade diameter 34 cm, height 30 cm (13.4 X 11.8 in). Condition: good, with normal signs of age; in working order.
