Estimated period of origin: 1950s-1970s origin: france style: ceramic "vase" type lamp base decorated with flowers, with a finish reminiscent of chinese porcelain exported to europe in the 19th century. This type of base was very popular in the 1950s-1970s, often inspired by antique porcelain, but mass-produced for bourgeois and classical furnishings. New off-white lampshade with lilac scalloped bottom finish.
