Low rustic-style furniture, often referred to as a sideboard or storage chest, likely of European manufacture (very common in France, Belgium, or Germany) dating from the second half of the 20th century (1950s-1990s). Rustic country style with a gendarme hat and ball or onion feet reminiscent of Louis XIV style furniture. The front is made of solid oak with veneer on the sides and top. The wood grain is well defined. The fittings (hinges) and lock entries are in aged metal. With its internal shelves, it was originally used as a storage unit for crockery, a side piece, or even a TV/Hi-Fi unit. Ideal for repainting in white or light grey for a Shabby Chic style. In good condition and sturdy. Uses: bathroom furniture, entrance furniture / catch-all, office furniture / file storage, bar or cocktail cabinet, bookshelf. Option for stripping at an additional cost of €250. Possibility to replace the two metal lock entries with more minimalist or modern handles to radically change the look of the furniture without painting it. Width 96 cm, depth 39 cm, height 105 cm.
