Original Charles Eames rocking chair in orange. Vintage fiberglass shell on the new Herman Miller black powder-coated base with solid walnut wood skates (we also have zinc-coated bases and oak/birch skates if you prefer). The contemporary version of this chair is made of polypropylene, which in our opinion is not a patch on these original fiberglass models, which age very well. In good vintage condition. No chips or cracks in the fiberglass. The shock absorbers are in good condition. A few small scratches here and there on the hull but nothing serious. Recent rocker leg. Approximate dimensions: Width: 63.5 cm Depth: 61cm Height: 68cm Seat height: 43cm. A mid-century classic.
