Wooden D227 desk - Manufacture Baumann - vintage 50s

D227 desk in blond wood of the famous baumann manufacture dating from the 50s. Originally equipped with a formica top far too damaged to be preserved, the latter has been replaced by a marbled red skai coating (period!), the black song that surrounded it has been repositioned. Its tapered feet in solid beech, its drawer and its plywood box were completely sanded and then varnished. The interior walls were painted yellow and the bottom of the drawer and the sliding shelves were covered with a vintage fabric with floral motifs and then varnished. Also note that all the hardware (palms and brass latch + screws) has been changed by new. A compact format, ideal for a child from 8 years old or in an extra office. Dimensions: height 75cm – width 89.5cm – depth 49.5cm – width between the foot and the box 45 cm. Furniture in very good condition after complete restoration and makeover.
