A lamp resembling a botanical sculpture, which brings a true presence to a console, sideboard, or accent table. A sinuous stem in gilded brass, covered with finely chiselled foliage, encircles two mineral geodes with sparkling crystals. The whole rests on a thick square base in transparent plexiglass, very representative of creations from the 1970s. The blue velvet lampshade contrasts beautifully with the gold of the metal. Attributed to Isabelle Faure for Atelier Grifs, this piece embodies the Hollywood Regency spirit, with its mix of gilded metal and raw materials that defines the charm of lighting from that era. It is reminiscent of the creations of Willy Daro, Duval Brasseur, or Maison Charles, in the vein of sculptural lighting from the seventies. The overall condition is very good for its age. The gilding is beautiful and luminous, and the geodes are well secured. The plexiglass base shows very slight micro-scratches from use, which are normal for a vintage piece. The electrical system is functional. Total height with lampshade: 65 cm.
