Collage

Indian ink, collage and sewn thread on cotton rag paper. Framed format 31x25cm. Unique work, titled, signed and dated on the back; delivered with certificate of authenticity. This series entitled "evening stories" is a little different from my usual work, which is more focused on geometric abstraction. The works that compose it are the fruit of significant emotional work. My personal life having recently been shaken up, I decided to use writing, through indian ink, to free my mind, and also to start reading again! It is therefore in the spirit of a diary, with the idea that writing feels good, that I began every day to draw movements in indian ink, on this unique rag paper. Secondly, and in a very intuitive way, I try to illustrate certain notable passages from my latest readings.
