Description
This old absinthe glass is made of blown glass. Beautifully transparent, it was mouth-blown and has a fine engraved line. This is an absinthe glass used in bistros and cafes in the 19th and very early 20th centuries. The rim is very wide to accommodate the absinthe spoon. Sugar was placed there, then water was poured over the sugar, in order to dilute the absinthe. This glass is in good condition and measures 19.5 cm in height and 9 cm in diameter. I point out a deposit inside.
