Brutalist tripod stool wabi sabi

When this stool arrived at my house, it was covered with an awful very thick chocolate paint. I (almost) removed everything, by hand, scratching with different tools. Then I sanded it lightly and passed him some antique wax. This gives it this strange appearance, with mixed marks and colors, raw wood in some places, patinated wood in others, and remnants of paint. It is in good general condition, stable and solid, but does not hide its age: a foot has been repaired, the repair is visible but effective (i tested it, you can sit on it without problem). There are also traces of paint, stains and various marks. Right in the mind of wabi sabi, with its flaws, its repairs, its past lives... Under the seat, I left the chocolate paint. It is 38 cm high and the seat has a diameter of 26 cm and a thickness of 3.5 cm. It weighs 1.7 kg.
