Pair of Hand Carved Horse Head Bookends

This pair of horse head bookends in massive pine wood are hand carved and decorated. The horse heads are playfully carved and bot sit on a metal horse shoe base. They are definitely unique and one of a kind. The pair was acquired in the netherlands but unable to authenticate or identify. They are decorative and very useful as they are heavy and stand good. The measure 27cm on a 9x11 cm base.
