'Dora' moon rock lamp by André Cazenave - Atelier A

'Dora' or moon rock lamp by André Cazenave produced by Atelier A, France, 1960s. This exceptional lamp in a rare larger size originates from Atelier A, the first manufacturer of the iconic Cazenave moon rock lamps, which have been produced in various versions over the years. The Atelier A editions are distinguished by their smoother finish compared to later productions by Tecta and Singleton, while retaining their characteristic lunar texture and sculptural appearance. The shell is made from epoxy and fiberglass, coated with a mineral powder finish and has an aluminium base. The lamp is in very good vintage condition, with no cracks and only minor age-related spots on the shell and the original electric base. Atelier A label missing. Light bulb included.
