🪞 Vintage geometric mirror with floral decoration – painted wooden frame – 79 × 42 cm. Very beautiful vintage wall mirror with a particularly original shape, consisting of a large central glass surrounded by a painted off-white wooden frame, enhanced by two side panels with stylised floral decoration. ✨ Its highly graphic silhouette is its charm: the sides are widely bevelled while the lower crossbar adopts a slightly concave curve, giving the whole piece an almost fan-like or outstretched wings appearance. 🌿 The two ends are adorned with an astonishing geometric floral relief decoration, made up of pale pinkish-beige flowers on a bright green background, highlighted with dark lines and small golden touches. A decorative artisanal work that gives the mirror a lot of personality. 🎨 The wooden frame is covered in an old off-white paint, now beautifully patinated. The wear and small losses occasionally reveal the wood and enhance its authentically vintage character. 🪞 The large central glass is simply highlighted by a fine dark framing, which contrasts with the light wood and showcases its unusual shape. 🌸 The combination of patinated white, green, beige, and golden touches gives it a very decorative aesthetic, at the crossroads of vintage, modernist, and Art Deco influences. 🪵 The back reveals a traditional construction entirely in wood, with visible joints and an old hanging system with cord.
