This superb serving cutlery is made of silver and the blades are made of steel. This cutlery is composed of a large fork and a carving knife. It was intended for serving meat dishes, such as legs of lamb and roasts. The handles are decorated with a sublime rocaille decoration, composed of waves, rocailles and leafy cartouches. This cutlery is hallmarked with the minerva on the handles. The goldsmith's hallmark is "af" for the french goldsmith armand frenais, active between 1877 and 1927. The blade is marked paris. In good condition, they measure 28 cm and 32 cm in length. I note traces of oxidation and wear of the silver plating.
