antique plates "Moulin des Loups" late 19th century early 20th century.

Magnificent and authentic set of 6 antique flat plates made of fine earthenware from the famous Moulin des Loups factory (Saint-Amand-les-Eaux). These pieces bear the signature of the great tradition of "chinoiseries, " a style inspired by the arts of the Far East that was very popular from the late 19th century to the early 20th century. The Decor: A superb narrative scene in shades of blue under glaze depicting traditional Chinese scholars gathered under bamboo around a game board, all framed by an elegant geometric frieze. Authenticity: Presence of original ink stamps and embossed markings on the back, guaranteeing the authenticity of these period pieces. Quantity: Indivisible lot of 6 plates. Condition: good vintage condition, beautiful shades of blue and nice glaze shine. Only one plate has suffered the ravages of time... This is only really visible on the underside (hairline cracks). Ideal for lovers of antique tableware, to set a "Chic Flea Market" style table, or to complete a collection of period blue and white services. 📦 Shipping: Very careful and secure packaging and fast (bubble wrap and reinforced cardboard).
