Louis XVI Style Half-Moon Console

Very pretty half-moon shaped console in louis XVI style, mahogany stained wood structure resting on 4 tapered and fluted legs ending in gilt bronze sabots. They are connected by a spacer decorated in its center with a gilt bronze urn. The belt is inlaid with painted porcelain medallions surrounded by gilt bronze medallions reproducing the typical knot of the louis XVI style. The removable top is in veined white marble in perfect condition. Circa 1930 dimensions: height 78 cm X length 105 cm X depth 36 cm.
