Christophle silver-plated serving dish

For sale is a stunning oval chafing dish from the prestigious French high silverware house Christofle. It belonged to my partner's parents (vintage piece, probably from the 1960s). Brand: Christofle (authenticity hallmarks clearly visible inside, see photos). Shape: Oval, classic design, elegant and timeless. Material: Very high-quality silver-plated metal (heavy weight, very stable). Condition of the item: Good / Very good overall condition. The top: It is beautiful, the silver plating is shiny and has a superb mirror effect. However, please note: a visible mark/trace on the surface (see last photo). The interior: It has been thoroughly cleaned and is very clean. However, due to the non-flat shape and the use of candles/burners, the bottom remains slightly darkened/greyish in places (the patina of time). This does not affect its use in any way.
