Ancient milking stool

This oak milking stool (or farm stool) dates in all likelihood from the early twentieth century. It consists of three legs - two of which are beautifully worked - connected by spacers. The seat, hollow, is very narrow (20 cm wide) so that today, the function of this object is purely decorative. We can note the presence of a leather ornament. The fact that this object has spent decades in a stable has left its mark: it is stung in places. For more safety I treated it against xylophagous insects. You can judge its exact condition by zooming in on the many photos provided. Ideal to bring a rustic touch to a contemporary interior!
