Elegant pair of vintage wall sconces with a typical 1950s/60s design, combining cream/ivory opaline glass and a brass structure. Each sconce features an organically shaped opaline glass diffuser, delicately crafted with a fluid relief pattern. The light is softly and warmly diffused, ideal for creating a cosy and refined atmosphere. The brass structure, paired with a curved arm and a sleek wall base, adds a chic and timeless touch. Requires a small screw base E14 bulb. The opaline glass diffuses a soft and even light, non-glaring, perfect for a warm ambiance in a living room or bedroom. The brightness will mainly depend on the intensity (lumens) of the bulbs you choose. The glass is in very good condition but shows some irregularities due to the cutting techniques of the time. The brass has a nuanced patina with darker oxidation spots consistent with the age of the sconces. There are some traces of old paint on the base, which are invisible when the sconce is mounted. The electrical cable appears to have been changed in the 1970s/80s. Total weight 0.670kg.
