Ironstone compote by Manufacture Clairefontaine, Regency decoration, circa 1900.

Elegant footed compote in ironstone from the Clairefontaine factory, circa 1900. Decorated with blue printed patterns on an ivory background, featuring a wide ornamental frieze and a central motif. The decoration continues under the bowl and around the foot, a particularly well-crafted detail. Stamped with the Clairefontaine mark – ironstone with an anchor under the foot, along with the initials LG for Léon Graves, who managed the Clairefontaine factory from 1890 to 1913. In good antique condition, with some traces, small stains, and irregularities due to age and manufacturing, as well as two decorative flaws on the edge (see photos). Diameter 22 cm, height 9 cm, depth 3 cm. An antique blue for a table full of elegance.
