An iconic “f51” chair designed by walter gropius and manufactured by tecta in germany around 1980. Walter gropius, the founder of the iconic bauhaus movement, designed this unique chair combining square shapes with bright colours. The comfortable cushioning and very straight forward frame is an outstanding contrast that is complimented by the bright colour of the fabric and dark colour of the black wooden frame. A fantastic find of mid-century design, this chair is a piece of design history that remains relevant today and will be a fantastic addition to the interior! The piece remains in very good, vintage condition. The upholstery is new and the frame only has minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
