Sculpture Rooster in alabaster powder Giuseppe Armani

Exceptional and large animal art sculpture representing a triumphant rooster, titled "The Morning Call." This prestigious work was created in the 1970s by the illustrious Italian master sculptor Giuseppe Armani for Capodimonte. The piece immediately captures the eye with the richness of its sculpted details and the splendor of its entirely hand-painted polychromy. The model is shaped from a noble composite of Italian alabaster powder ("Cold Cast Porcelain"), an elite process that allows for an exceptionally sharp rendering of the feathers and a very high-quality heavy touch. The statue rests on its original varnished mahogany wood base. The bottom of the rock features the engraved initials "G.A." of the artist, and the piece retains its period "Certificato di Garanzia" paper, attesting to its total historical authenticity. A work of art of great rarity, ideal for refined decoration or a cabinet of curiosities.
