It is characterized by its thick wool in ecru tones and its diamond-shaped geometric patterns, often black or brown. However, we now find some with brightly colored patterns. Originally, the beni ouarain carpet was also characterized by its very large size. Indeed, the beni ouarain tribe comes from the middle atlas, so it is subject to a harsh climate.
