supporting furniture in precious wood marquetry, richly decorated with a marquetry

Support furniture in precious wood marquetry, richly decorated with floral marquetry representing a bouquet in an antique vase, framed by finely executed fillets and Greek patterns. This central decoration, of great finesse, is in the Louis XV style revived in the 19th century. The front and sides feature a veneer with a geometric frieze decoration, perfectly balanced, highlighted by finely chased gilt bronze ornamentation: mask drops, lock entries, feet, handles, and delicately worked rocaille motifs. The piece is topped with a peach blossom marble top, moulded in a corbin beak shape, adding contrast and elegance to the whole. The shaped base rests on small curved feet, enhancing the visual lightness of the piece. Characteristics: French work, early 20th century. Floral and geometric marquetry. Veneer and solid wood. Significant garniture of finely chased gilt bronzes. Marble top. Condition: Very good overall condition. Beautiful old patina. Dimensions (to be completed): Height: 103 cm. Width: 90 cm. Depth: 41 cm. A decorative and refined piece of furniture, ideal as a console, support furniture, or small sideboard, perfect for a classic interior or a collection of quality French furniture.
