Vintage trompe-l’œil terrine with eggs in white earthenware, 1960s-1980s

Very pretty small terrine in white glazed earthenware, unmarked, with a trompe-l'œil lid decorated with a cluster of eggs. Vintage from the 1960s-1980s. Oval shape with two side handles, the moulded body mimicking a woven basket and the lid featuring several raised eggs, creating a decorative, fun, and very charming piece. A lovely table item that can also be used as a decorative container in the kitchen or on a sideboard. 20.5cm in length, 13.8cm in maximum width, 7.5cm in height without the lid, 15.5cm in maximum height with the lid. Overall in good condition. Unfortunately, the base has two chips on one side, quite visible, with no other notable defects. 710g.
