Black fiberglass RAR rocking chair by Charles & Ray Eames, 1970

Rocking armchair in exposed fiberglass, wooden base mahogany color, vintage model original edition as evidenced by the stamp of herman miller (manufacture prior to vitra) For history this armchair recreated in 1948 by the eames using polyetter resin reinforced with fiberglass to create a shell of one piece. This fact will be presented in 1950 for the first time at the "low cost furniture design" competition of the moma in new york.
