“Fir” salad bowl JD&S England

Very original “fir” salad bowl in English earthenware manufactured by JD&S at the end of the 19th century. The earthenware is white in color with reliefs. It is decorated by transfer with lavender blue patterns representing fir branches (fir in English) with their apples. The handles and feet represent the roots of the fir trees. Condition (see photos): Excellent condition. No chips or cracks. Note: small classic manufacturing defects. Yellow traces of limestone on the feet. Length 33 cm. Width 23.5 cm. Height 11.5 cm.
