Ancient Syrian crafts folding chairs and tables

Presentation of a set of authentic ancient syrian handicrafts with engraved inscriptions (family furniture). This set consists of two folding chairs and a matching table, adorned with mother-of-pearl inlays carefully arranged on carved wooden frames. The chairs feature an elaborate open design, characteristic of syrian art, with geometric and floral patterns that provide a rich aesthetic and attractive texture. The octagonal table completes the ensemble with similar patterns, creating visual harmony. Made in accordance with traditional syrian marquetry techniques, this set is a reflection of a luxurious heritage and exceptional artisanal know-how. The top of the backrest is removable, the rest pivots on the folding axis and the wood of the staggered chairs folds on itself, the folding is functional but has no wear as it has hardly been used. The set is complete and in good condition, the chairs have some mother-of-pearl missing at the joint of the removable backrest (photo) the woodwork is in very good condition, the table top needs to be restored, missing mother-of-pearl and marquetry the rest of the table is in good condition. This item has belonged to our family for several decades, I do not know its historical origin.
