Authentic French farmhouse table dating from around 1750–1800, originating from the Auvergne region. Made of solid oak, this imposing table combines rustic simplicity with practical functionality, featuring a warm and naturally aged patina developed over centuries of use. The thick 3 cm solid oak top, with matching 3 cm side rails, highlights the robust construction typical of old French provincial furniture. It includes two drawers: a large drawer at the short end and a smaller one on one of the long sides, both with wooden handles. The bottom of the large drawer has been renewed. For better seating comfort, the table has been raised, making it more suitable for contemporary use while retaining its original character. The wood has been treated with antique furniture wax, enhancing the natural grain and warm tones of the oak while providing surface protection. Suitable as a dining table, farmhouse kitchen table, or centrepiece in rustic or contemporary interiors. Details. Origin: France, Auvergne. Period: circa 1750–1800. Material: Solid oak.
