Carpets isfahan wool and silk around 1970

Beautiful animal carpet from central isfahan persia, circa 1970. Wool and silk in a very thin knot on silk chain. Niche field with a red silk background and an ascending pattern of flowering trees, birds, predators hunting and deer on the run, the fields of pale green light springs with grapes and birds, light blue main border with a multitude of animals, birds and rabbits in a landscape. Velvet made of lamb's wool of high quality called "kork" and silk. Dimensions: 163x107 cm. Condition: shortened fringes, small velvet defects on both sides otherwise good condition.
