Armchair in chiseled wood and blue velvet, early twentieth century

Armchair dating from the early twentieth century consisting of a square-shaped backrest with a dark wood oak frame and chiseled with a blue velvet padded square and upholstered with golden-headed nails, two carved and fluted wooden armrests with a velvet padded cushion, a square-shaped seat also padded and four roundwood legs, chiseled and fluted. Solid and stable, this wide and comfortable chair has a high back that allows you to rest your head. In good general condition for its age, the wood is in perfect condition since we have completely passed it to tinted wax to harmonize its color and remove traces of time. The velvet, meanwhile, has some slight differences in shades on the seat and some lack of velvet on the armrests and seat that reveal the blue weft of the fabrics which does not detract from the charm of the seat and contributes to its authentic patina. Ideal in a bedroom or living room, this very comfortable armchair will find its place in any type of interior and will bring a vintage and colorful touch to your decoration.
