Albert Ferlay (1907-1996) was a tie merchant and industrialist by trade, who turned to a very kitsch, funny, and burlesque Vallauris pottery. With this poodle carafe, amusing, kitsch, and burlesque, in any order you prefer, we are right in the heart of his art! From the 1950s, with an indescribably funny look (the poodle even sticks out its tongue, after all!), it goes nowhere so much that it goes everywhere! Filled with a strong alcohol, it is intended for adults, but will make the mischievous eye of the child hidden within everyone twinkle! A beautiful piece in shiny glazed ceramic, there is a noted flaw on one leg, see photos, and the original cork stopper is no longer present and needs to be replaced.
