Magic Box desk by Mummenthaler and Meier, Switzerland, 1960s

An icon desk from the 60s, the magic box is made of teak and maple veneer for the interior. Closed, it forms a block and when you open it, it offers a large writing surface and plenty of storage space and a drawer. It is equipped with a removable lamp with original electrical outlet to change. No lock, but the two sides still hold closed without problem. Some marks and scratches from use inside and slight gaps in veneer on the sides towards the bottom but all the systems for unfolding it are in excellent condition.
