Old engraved board, the Grand Chemin, XVIII century

Very beautiful original print entirely on wove paper, after a painting painted by pierre breughel (flemish school): the great way and engraved by j.b racines. Published in the eighteenth century, after the paintings of the gallery of the royal palace. Under the engraving there is an explanation about the painting and the painter. Watermark present in the weft of the paper. Never framed this print presents its bowl well. Condition: presence of a few scattered freckles in the margin as well as 4 small pinhead holes. For collectors or lovers of old prints, it will deserve a nice old frame to give charm to your interior. Size sheet h 54 cm l 36 cm. Size at bowl: h 36 cm w 25.5 cm.
