Numbered Halluin tapestry - couple of pheasants drinking at the fountain on greenery

Halluin tapestry numbered 42699 made in france. This tapestry shows a couple of pheasants drinking from a stone fountain, against a background of greenery, flowers and berries. The rich colors of the tapestry in blues, greens, browns, rust and beige are very well preserved. The front of the tapestry is impeccable. The back has traces of glue or tape. The label is readable and clearly present. 2 functional hanging systems. H58 X l44 cm approximately 500gr this tapestry appears on the cover of the catalog of the exhibition “masterpieces of tapestry from the 14th to the 16th century” at the grand palais in paris (editions des musées nationaux 1973).
