Italian dining table in carved oak with a glass top, vintage.

Magnificent dining table with a sculptural design, combining an imposing base made of carved solid oak with a circular transparent glass top measuring 130 cm in diameter and 18 mm in thickness. The uniqueness of this piece lies in its extraordinary base, designed as a true botanical sculpture. Its silhouette evokes a monumental flower in full bloom: the upper part opens into a corolla of wide overlapping petals, while long veined leaves descend along the column to an elegantly scalloped base. Made of solid oak, the column is hollow inside. Its generous volume, the depth of its reliefs, and the richness of its carved details give it a remarkable architectural presence. The finish has been entirely hand-crafted. A delicate white patina highlights the hollows of the sculpture, accentuates the design of the leaves and petals, and reveals the warm tones and natural grain of the oak. This contrast adds beautiful depth to the decor and showcases the finesse of the artisanal work. The transparent glass top, intentionally thick and generously sized, creates a striking contrast with the organic character and visual power of the carved wood. Its transparency allows for admiration of the richness of the base from all angles, without concealing the decor. Both a dining table and a sculptural piece, it will naturally find its place in a contemporary, classic, or eclectic interior, where it will serve as a true centrepiece. **Dimensions: ** Diameter of the glass top: 130 cm.
