Compote dish

Gien earthenware compote from the late 19th century, stamped Faïencerie de Gien, gold medal, Yedo model. It is a very elegant Japonese-style model in blue, in good condition without chips, with some signs of wear underneath, see photos. You can use it as a fruit bowl, to offer sugared almonds, sweets, or biscuits.
