DESCRIPTION: Looking for a unique designer cabinet. Then the "Storkow" model might be just what you're looking for. This cabinet – a so-called sideboard – originates from Germany and was part of the Oldenburger Werkstätten Idee Möbel Programme. The Idee Möbel Programme was an extensive, modular furniture series that could be fully customized, ensuring a suitable solution for every customer. Similar programmes exist in the Netherlands, including those from Kemkens, which sold large numbers of its FM/Formule furniture. What was special about this German programme, however, was the engagement of a renowned designer: Erich Stratmann. He designed a series of cabinets that excel in functionality and are characterized by a sleek and timeless design. A light oak finish with a fine ash veneer was chosen, with dark accents deliberately added to emphasize the beautiful details. Consider the beautiful round handle of the sliding door and the vertical stripes incorporated into this door. The drawer section features slightly slanted fronts and a dark frame around the block, giving it a playful and characterful twist. Thanks to these subtle design choices, the cabinet appears more compact than it actually is. In reality, it's a spacious sideboard with ample storage space, in very beautiful and original condition.
