Brass chimney shovel and sweeper 30s

Here are objects as we like them. Original, beautiful, old and rare. This small shovel and its brush date from the 30s. Entirely made of brass and equipped with real horsehair, the sweeper sports a joker's head on a bell that adds a touch of madness to this utensil whose function is not very playful. Probably of english origin, this set must have been used to remove the ashes of a bourgeois house chimney. Its small size also makes it possible to use it to elegantly collect crumbs on a tablecloth.
