Painting by Claude-Henry Pollet

Oil painting on embedded canvas (period) representing a landscape on the edge of abstraction signed by paul-henry pollet, artist whose works are rare but indisputable value of the materialist and colorist school of which he claims. Very good state of conservation (the varnish could perhaps be slightly cleaned). Paul-henry pollet paints and draws at a steady pace. He produced the triptych "boston" which he considered a first achievement. Like serge poliakoff, whose influence he claims, he proposes assemblages of complex figures that he pencils for a long time before applying dark and deep colors that recall his taste for nordic aesthetics. He presents himself less as a painter than as a colorist. Chassis dimension: 37 / 55 cm (format 10p).
