Parisian Art Deco wardrobe in raw oak, renovated.

Charming Parisian wardrobe from the Art Deco period, made of solid oak and oak veneer, with carved floral decorations. The wardrobe has been completely sanded to reveal the raw wood, then protected with a clear matte oil that preserves the natural and warm appearance of the oak. The front is adorned with an original antique blown mirror, which shows some discreet shallow scratches and minor signs of age. Its slight surface undulations, characteristic of antique mirrors, add a lot of charm and authenticity. The lock has been replaced to ensure functionality, while the original lock entry has been preserved. The door opens easily; to close it properly, simply lift it slightly. Inside, two original adjustable shelves, also sanded and left in raw wood, provide ample storage space. The inside of the door is lined with floral wallpaper, adding a delicate decorative touch. At the bottom, a large drawer slides easily and retains its lovely original antique handle. Like all antique furniture, it bears some traces of its history: a small veneer repair at the bottom left remains barely visible (see photos). The wood also has a crack on one of the strips, which does not affect the sturdiness or usability of the piece (see photos). Additionally, there are a few rare old woodworm holes visible at the back.
