Polaris by Pierre Guariche manufactured by the Meurop company in Belgium. In 1967, Meurop presented two new seats in the newspapers: Polaris and Luna. They are part of the Starlook-Ultralight series, designed by Pierre Guariche. The names of these pieces of furniture fit perfectly with their futuristic, space-age look. The seats have soft, round seats. The shapes are developed using an innovative process. They have a metal core around which polyurethane is poured. Then they are covered with polyether foam and finished in nylon velvet, imitation leather or fabric. The metal base is finished with a plastic shell. Patents are also filed for the Production Method. This Polaris is adorned with its original orange fabric in great condition with some minor wear due to its age. Seat dimensions excluding tax 45cm
