Modernist dish by Robert Picault Vallauris 1950s. This heavy and splendid piece is by Picault himself, signed in full. Deep and fresh colors, silky reflections of the rough textures of iron oxides, and the silhouette of this incised fish crossing the bottom of this remarkable dish, calm and simple with beautiful proportions. From ledge to ledge: length 25cm, width 20cm. Height 4cm. Covered with the southwest corner of the slightly worn ledge with tiny lack. Exceptional state. A room even more than a table.
